WIT credits
The daily allowance
Staked $ALL earns a fresh WIT allowance every day, sized by your stake and the $ALL price.
How it is sized
At every daily reset, each staking wallet receives a fresh WIT allowance. It depends on two numbers only: how much $ALL the wallet has staked, and the $ALL price that day.
WIT per day = f ( $ALL staked , $ALL price )
- Proportional to your stake: stake twice as much and you receive twice the WIT.
- Moves with the price: the allowance is based on what your stake is worth, so when $ALL rises your allowance rises, and when it falls your allowance falls.
- Uses an average price: the $ALL price comes from an on-chain oracle averaged over time, so one day's swing does not move allowances.
The staking page shows your current daily allowance before you stake.
Rules of the allowance
| Rule | What it means |
|---|---|
| Granted, not minted | Nothing is borrowed and nothing is owed. The allowance is an entitlement your stake earns each day. Unstake and it stops. |
| Recomputed daily | The allowance is worked out again at every reset from your stake and the price. |
| Expires at the reset | Unused allowance expires at the next reset (00:00 UTC). It cannot be saved up and spent in a burst. |
| One price list | A request costs the same however your WIT was obtained. |
