WIT credits
WIT credits
WIT is what you spend on Allwit. Every model, Hub run and agent step has a price in WIT.
What WIT is
WIT credits are Allwit's unit of account for usage. Every model, Hub deployment and agent step has a price in WIT, set from what it costs to run, so a short text reply costs little and a video clip costs much more. Each request shows its cost before you send it.
WIT credits are a balance in the Allwit platform ledger, tied to your wallet. They cannot be transferred to another wallet, and they are kept to two decimal places.
Three ways to get WIT
- Stake $ALLA fresh allowance every day, sized by your stake and the $ALL price.
- Buy WITPay with USDC, USDT or $ALL when you need more, or if you'd rather not stake.
- Starter WITNew wallets receive starter WIT to try Allwit before holding any $ALL.
WIT from every source goes into one balance, and a request costs the same however your WIT was obtained.
Why WIT is separate from $ALL
Keeping the two apart means prices stay readable. What a model costs in WIT tracks what it costs to run and changes only when provider prices change. What moves with the market is the size of your daily allowance, which rises and falls with the $ALL price.
